Relpax Side Effects
The following side effects have been associated with Relpax:
- Weakness
- Upset stomach
- Heartburn
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Dry mouth
- Stomach pain
Call your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following serious side effects associated with Relpax:
- Chest pain
- Difficulty swallowing
- Bloody diarrhea
- Weakness/numbness of arm/leg
- Palpitations
- Cyanosis
- Pain, burning, or tingling of hands or feet
- Dizziness
- Fainting
This is not a complete list of side effects. Serious side effects can occur while taking Relpax. Patients should consult their doctor concerning possible side effects before beginning treatment with Relpax.
If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding consult your doctor before taking Relpax. Call your doctor if you become pregnant while being treated with Relpax.
Do not drive a car or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert until you know how Relpax will affect you.
Consult your doctor if your dose of Relpax does not relieve three consecutive headaches or if the frequency or intensity of the headaches increases.
Relpax may cause patients to have a heart attack. Call your doctor immediately if you experience severe chest pains or shortness of breath.
Alcohol can trigger migraine headaches or make them worse. Patients being treated with Relpax should avoid drinking to help prevent severe headaches.
Avoid drinking caffeine, red wine, or eating aged cheese. These foods may trigger migraines.
