Vaniqa Description:
Vaniqa is a topical skin cream used to reduce the appearance of unwanted facial hair in women. The cream works to slow facial hair growth and reduce the time spent removing, treating, or concealing unwanted facial hair.
Vaniqa Side Effects:
Common side effects of Vaniqa include temporary application site reactions such as:
- Burning
- Rash
- Redness
- Stinging
- Tingling

Vaniqa Uses:
Vaniqa works to slow unwanted hair growth by interfering with an enzyme found in hair follicles. Vaniqa cream does not permanently remove hair and is not a depilatory, and if treatment is stopped, hair growth will return to normal within about 8 weeks.
Vaniqa Interactions:
Tell your doctor about all prescription and non-prescription medications you may be taking along with Vaniqa, including vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products. Tell your doctor before using any other skin or facial creams with Vaniqa.
Vaniqa Dosage Information:
Typical Dosage Recommendations
Vaniqa is applied twice daily, with applications spaced at least 8 hours apart. Vaniqa cream should be rubbed in thoroughly on the affected areas on the face and chin. Avoid washing the application area for at least 4 hours after using the cream.
Missing a Dose of Vaniqa
If you miss an application of Vaniqa, apply the medication as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled application, skip the missed application and wait to return to your regular schedule. Do not try to make up for missed doses by applying double doses of the medication.
Vaniqa Overdose
It is unknown if overdose with Vaniqa can occur.
