Catherine M. Mullaly, MD, FRCPC, MPH, MS is a Harvard-trained anesthesiologist and public health physician with more than two decades of clinical and research experience at Harvard-affiliated hospitals. She completed fellowship training in the United States, Canada and Australia, and has worked internationally to establish anesthesia groups across North America, North Africa and the Middle East.

In addition to her medical career, Dr. Mullaly holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University, equipping her with the ability to translate complex medical knowledge into clear, evidence-based narratives for both professional and public audiences. She has contributed to PassBlue (NYC), StatNews (Boston) and Reuters Health (International).

Her scholarly work includes a 2010 thesis on ventilator allocation during pandemic disease, which anticipated the ethical and operational challenges that became central during the COVID-19 pandemic.
