Ahish Chitneni, M.D.

Dr. Ahish Chitneni is a Resident Physician specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian – Columbia and Cornell, with plans to further his expertise through a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine. His clinical focus within pain medicine includes neuromodulation, cancer pain, and minimally invasive spine interventions. Dr. Chitneni’s leadership roles reflect his commitment to advancing the field: he serves as Chair of the NANS Resident/Fellow Committee, is the Founding Editor of PainMedicineNews, and holds a seat on the Board of Directors for the New York Pain Society (NYPS).

With a passion for research, Dr. Chitneni has contributed significantly to the medical literature, authoring over 40 publications and textbook chapters on topics including spinal cord stimulation, vertebral augmentation, and interventional treatments for sacroiliac joint disorders.
