Moshe Horn is an award-winning attorney and partner at the New York office of Simmons Hanley Conroy. He is dedicated to expanding the firm’s litigation capabilities in asbestos, mass tort and class action practices.

As an experienced trial attorney, Horn has successfully tried over 100 cases. He tried these cases as a prosecutor, a criminal defense lawyer, a plaintiff’s attorney and a civil defense attorney.

His accomplishments include various multimillion-dollar verdicts for clients, including:

  • $47 million verdict in a class action case
  • $2.4 million plaintiff’s verdict in a bus accident in upstate New York
  • Member of the trial team that obtained a $47 million verdict in a case involving the drug Vioxx

Prior to joining Simmons Hanly Conroy, Horn worked at a few firms where he gained experience litigating asbestos cases, mass torts cases and class actions. He also participated in asbestos and product liability defense.

Before entering private practice, Moshe worked for 10 years as an assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office where he worked on street crime, sex crimes and white-collar investigations.

Horn is also a sought-after speaker, frequently conducting continuing legal education (CLE) instruction for Lawline on trial advocacy, technology and legal ethics. He has also given CLE presentations for Marino and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). In addition, Moshe speaks at schools and parent groups about potential criminal issues facing teens and college-age students.
