Ozempic Vision Loss Injuries and Lawsuits

Aside from the gastroparesis injuries related to use of the GLP-1s or Ozempic, there’s recent medical literature tying use of GLP-1s to a very specific eye injury. The acronym is NAON. It’s non arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. And that’s just a fancy way of basically saying you had an eye stroke and you lost the eyesight in one or both of your eyes. And the science is still kind of percolating, but there are studies that have tied Ozempic use to that type of injury. And those cases, are currently starting to be filed in, district court in New Jersey in federal, in federal court. If you believe you’ve suffered an eye injury as a result of your use of a GLP-one, I would first and foremost ask you to go see an ophthalmologist or an eye doctor of some sort to see if you can get a specific diagnosis, because a neon diagnosis is very unusual.
