So hernia mesh is having a lot of different complications. One of the one of the complications would be adhesions. So that hernia mesh itself can actually stick to various organs, one being the bowel, maybe one where it obstructs the bowel. And so now you have to have a a revision surgery to to unobstruct the bowel. Or, you know, we’ve seen multiple different one like testes that the hernia mesh gets wrapped on the testes. And so people have had to get their hernia mesh revised, and sometimes it causes testicle to have to be removed. You know, there’s things like that that happen as a result of hernia mesh, that adheres to various organs inside of the body. So that’s one major problem. Another major problem is erosion. The hernia mesh just breaks down, just erodes inside of the body, and so it breaks down a bunch of different pieces. And when that happens, it can cause a lot of different pain and a lot of inflammation all over where that hernia mesh was. So people are gonna have to have revision as a result of that. And erosion is kind of one of the nastiest ones because getting erosion, now there’s a bunch of different pieces in there. And when they go to do a revision surgery, they oftentimes can’t get all the pieces and they gotta go back and do multiple revisions, if there are multiple problems. So that’s another one. There’s other things like recurring infections that could happen because of a hernia mesh. They could also happen for other reasons, but a lawyer oftentimes can look at the records and have an idea, as to whether or not if it’s an infection case, as to whether or not you have a a hernia mesh claim.
