What are the potential complications linked to a hip replacement?

One of the main things that we’re looking at when we’re looking at hip and plant lawsuits are metallosis complications. Essentially, what that means is there was a line of products that had metal on metal hip implants and or some other ones that caused the metal on the hip ball to basically shed into the body and or from the taper liner, to taper junction, to shed metal into the body. And basically, metal kills the tissue, inside the right surrounding the the hip and plant and causes excessive joint fluid to build up as well. So when that happens, it’s oftentimes only a matter of time until that person’s going to need a revision surgery. You will recognize if you had one of these complications because if your doctor comes to you and you’re they’re talking to you about getting a cobalt and chromium blood test. If they talk to you about metallosis, if they talk to you about metal, poisoning, any of those sorts of things, That’s not a normal complication from a hip and plant. That’s an abnormal complication. So those are the sorts of, complications you’ve had that sort of thing, those are the things that you oftentimes qualify for a lawsuit or a hip and plant claim.
