Who Is Impacted by Hair Relaxer Injuries?

Based upon our interaction with our clients and potential clients in the aerial action litigation, we’ve come to several conclusions as to who is primarily involved in the case. This is a case that’s impacting the African American community primarily because that is typically where the usage of the hair relaxer products is found. So anybody who’s used that over the course of several years and has suffered uterine cancer can certainly qualify. Something else that’s certainly not surprising given that it’s a skin on skin contact we believe is causing that kind of exposure is causing the injuries. Hairdressers are beginning to kind of show up as suffering these injuries in a disproportionate ratio than to somebody who just went and got their hair done a couple of times a year.
