Why are people filing hernia mesh lawsuits?

Our hernia mesh clients are people who had, surgical repairs of a hernia. The mesh is surgical material that’s that’s implanted by the surgeon to improve the strength of typically the abdominal wall following, that type of repair. The types of injuries that we see following are infections and fistulas and things like that following the surgery. Not necessarily immediately following the surgery, but maybe weeks or months down the road. Anytime we see those types of injuries, almost, without exception, they require another school intervention to repair the problem that was caused by the original implant. Now these particular hernia mesh products that were we’re pursuing. It’s not a mistake made by the surgeon. It’s not medical malpractice. It’s a defective mesh that was being manufactured and marketed by certain manufacturers that are causing this problem. And those are the those are the entities that we are pursuing in these lawsuits.
